Pinecrest Lake

SIERRA NEVADA

Built in 1935 and thoughtfully renovated, this cabin sits seventy feet from the beach at Pinecrest Lake, close enough to hear the water, far enough to feel like it's yours alone. Hardwood floors, knotty pine walls, and a wood-burning stove with blower give it the warmth of a mountain cabin that's actually been lived in. The kitchen opens to the living space, anchored by a full wet bar and a walk-in pantry built for a long weekend of real cooking.

Two bedrooms that sleep more than they look. The master suite has an en-suite bath and generous closet. The second suite has cathedral ceilings, skylights, and its own private front and rear entrances. Ideal for guests who want their own rhythm. Storage under the structure keeps the kayaks, bikes, and outdoor gear out of the way until you need them.

Experiences & Amenities

✦ ON THE WATER

Take the kayaks out in the morning when the surface is glass. Swim from the beach seventy feet from your front door. Rent a boat from the marina for the afternoon. Pinecrest Lake is small enough to feel intimate, big enough to lose track of time on.

✦ INTO THE SIERRA

The trails around Pinecrest reward every level of effort. The Pinecrest Lake Loop is an easy two miles with water views the whole way. For something with more elevation, the Burst Rock and Powell Lake trail earns its views. Ask us and we'll point you toward the one that fits your group.

✦ IN THE CABIN

A wood-burning stove, a wet bar, and a kitchen built for cooking a real meal. Pinecrest has the kind of weather that makes you want to stay in as much as go out — and this cabin was designed for exactly that.

✦ WINTER

Dodge Ridge Ski Resort is minutes from the cabin. The same house that works perfectly in summer becomes a ski cabin the moment the snow arrives.
